6-5-07My sister sent me this update on a petition to save a piece of graffiti art on the side of a building in Bristol, UK. The art in question (shown below) comprises a picture of a window with a naked man hanging from the window ledge whilst a husband looks out the window with his cheating wife stood nervously behind him. Apparently the owner of the building was pleased with the addition by Banksy but, a conservative 'numb-nuts' councillor was trying to get it removed. More than 3000 people signed the petition to keep the muriel and now the guys who go around cleaning graffiti in Bristol have been told to get authorisation before removing any that they suspect may be a Banksy original... I can't stand taggers but Banksy does rock!
