Pea Corn Puffs
David and Kanari brought us back these (apparently) Pea-based corn puffs from Japan a while back. We haven’t actually eaten them yet but as soon as this page goes up on the interweb, they will be down my throat in a jiffy.
There is a little cartoon on the back of the packet depicting the sorry fate of a poor pea pod that was plucked from a plant in a field, roasted over roaring flames and possibly lightly salted. You can see this cartoon in the picture below. I guess just make of it what you will.
