ADSL Stuff
I learnt about this around 2003 or so, wrote it down on a piece of paper and forgot about it. January 2012 I found that piece of paper and resolved to stick it somewhere I could not lose it...
You can test your DSL connection without an account
- Log into your router
- set the user to be BT_test@startup_domain
- in your browser, go to www.bt.net/digitaldemo
- now set your user to be BT_test_user@<your.isp.com>
- see what happen
